Shopify as a Merchant Onboarding Guide
1. From Quipt, create an API user.

Follow steps in this link

Name the user "*Company name* API" and use a "company Administrator" role.

API email username must be unique and not match existing login email
2. Log In to your Quipt API user.
3. Create a Quipt Warehouse(s) that match your shopify warehouse(s).
4. Navigate to Applications.
5. Use the "Shopify Vendor Connector"
- Save Default Permissions
- Follow the flow to turn the sync on, authorize the shopify store connection using the "authorize" button and pop=up.
- Set your pricing settings. This determines where the price of the items in shopify maps to in Quipt. Typically this is the SRP field. For more price information look here
- Use the dropdowns to set your warehouse mappings, linking the Quipt warehouse(s) you created in step 3 to your shopify warehouse(s).
6. In Shopify, create a new customer for each channel you intend to sync via Quipt. Each order placed will be created within the respective Channel customer in Shopify for visibility and ease of payment reconciliation.
- First Name: Channel Name (Amazon, eBay, etc.)
- Last Name: "Quipt"
- Email: support@getquipt.com
- Input warehouse address (950 Glenn Drive, #285, Folsom CA 95630)
- Ph #: 888.982.4269
- Tax: Uncheck "Collect Tax"
- Save
- Then open the new customer(s) in Shopify, and input the corresponding ID(s) at the end of the web URL (highlighted below) into Quipt.
7. Within 24 hours of the sync, you will begin to see shopify inventory in your incomplete inventory section of Quipt.
