Action Required - Message to Merchant

This particular action required status is a warning alert message that will require further investigation to resolve. 

Causes:

• Bad acknowledgement, not a good response
• Shipment failed to update in the channel portal
• Already confirmed shipped, and alternate tracking information was sent 
• Canceled order status, and sending tracking information

If the message to merchant shows an acknowledgement error, you can look up the order within the marketplace portal.

1. If the order is acknowledged and shipping status match in Quipt, you can process the request.
2. The order may be acknowledged but the tracking may not match. A manual tracking update in the portal will be necessary.
3. If the order is not acknowledged by the marketplace, the order may be cancelled or additional investigation is necessary. Take the appropriate action. (ie: cancel the order or leave the order in action required to check the acknowledgement). 

A "Cancellation Rejected" message tells the user that a cancellation was processed in Quipt, however it was not accepted by the channel. You will need to manually refund and cancel the order in the portal. 

The channel will send back a 'Shipment Rejected' message because the channel will not accept tracking information for a package for a cancelled order. Instead, you will need to cancel the item manually (within the channel portal) and then go into the portal directly to push back the refund to the customer. You will need to intercept the package or stop shipment. 

Fixes:

• Confirm information (shipment or cancellation) in the channel portal.
• Refund the customer manually if necessary.
• Stop the shipment if necessary (order was cancelled yet shipped by vendor).

Description: 

When there is a "cancellation request" in Walmart and Quipt attempts to apply tracking, Walmart rejects the ship confirmation. 

Solution: 

A user must manually mark the order shipped in the Walmart portal.
