eBay Feed Rejection Resolutions

Error Message Description	Reason for Error	Resolution
"Content: Unsupported export category. Build within retailer's portal manually."	This error occurs when you are trying to publish an item to a category that is not currently supported on Quipt.	If we wanted to publish as soon as possible, the item can be built out manually in the marketplaces' portal. For a long-term resolution, please email [e-mail] to get an estimate on the time it will take to get your desired category supported.
"Content: 640: We noticed that you don't have a payment method set up with your eBay account. As soon as you take care of this, you'll be able to list more items."	This error occurs because you do not have a payment method set up in your Ebay account currently.	Go into your eBay portal and confirm that you have all payment information set up correctly. If necessary, change your affected items statuses'
"Content: 240: The item cannot be listed or modified. The title and/or description may contain improper words, or the listing or seller may be in violation of eBay policy."	This error occurs because eBay thinks that there are issues with your listing- these issues could be errors in the title or description of the item, improper words, or an overall violation of eBays listing policies.	1. Please email [e-mail] with the rejection, affected channel, and affected SKU so that we can get the item published for you as quickly as possible.
"Content: 37: Input data for tag is invalid or missing. Please check API documentation."	This error occurs because there is an error in the information that is getting sent to eBay from Quipt. Many times this means there is an issue with the mapping to eBay for the category.	1. " Content: 21920000: You must select a product from the eBay catalog when listing Apple items in the Cell Phones & Smartphones category."	This error occurs because eBay wants you to select the product you are listing in the category that the error mentions.	1. "Content: 21916883: The provided condition id is invalid for the selected primary category id."	This error occurs because the condition of the item being listed is invalid for the category it is in. This may mean that eBay does not allow that condition in the category you want to place your item in.	1. "Price and Availability: Error 291 (RequestError): You are not allowed to revise ended listings."	This error occurs because you are trying to make changes to a listing that is not currently active. eBay has a 30 day listing limit for items, so when the time expires, the item goes 'inactive' until re-listed.	To get this item published, you will need to re-list it on eBay. Find the item in the Quipt portal and clear the 'MapID' section out. This clears the link to the old listing on eBay. Then you will need to change both 'Content Status' and 'Price & Availability Status' to Pending Export. This re-lists the item on eBay and sends the item information back to eBay. Click 'Save' to save all changes.
"Content: 515: The quantity must be a valid number greater than 0."	This error occurs because the item has 0 QTY.	1. To get the item Published, you need to add quantity. If you do not have any quantity to add, then the item will not Publish on eBay and you can either turn the item off manually, or Quipt will eventually auto-off it to prevent from overselling.
"Content: Publish error(s), A user error has occurred. This listing would cause you to exceed the number of items you can list. You can list up to 1 more item this month. Please consider reducing the quantity or request to list more"	This error occurs because you've exceeded your selling limit on eBay	1. To get this item published you will need to adjust your 'Max Quantity per Listing' partner policy setting in Quipt 2. Click on the top right 'shadow person' dropdown > click on 'Partner Settings' > Click to open eBay > Click 'Edit Channel' > Click 'Edit' under 'Policies' > Scroll down to 'Feeds' > Under 'Max Quantity per Listing enter a number to adjust how much qty gets posted per eBay listing (e.g. a listing with 200 qty would post 2qty continually till sold out if you adjusted this to '2'). Recommend setting anywhere from 2-5.>  3. Remember to click 'Save' after updating the 'Max Quantity per Listing' amount. Lastly re-toggle your rejected feeds to 'Pending Export'
