|
This error is usually caused by a late 'Site End Date'. Walmart has supplied information that when an item has a site end date which is after the year 2049, an error is likely to be thrown, and the item will not be published. |
To resolve this issue, you just need to manually change the site end date in the Walmart portal.

|
The UPC for your item is already in use for another item in your Walmart store, with a different SKU number |
1. If the item already published with the same UPC, but a different SKU, exists in your Quipt, then find and merge to it 2. If the item already published with the same UPC, but a different SKU, doesn't exist in your Quipt, then copy the SKU from the rejection message (e.g. SB220Q-NEW) and paste it into the SKU Override field of the Walmart Feed. Change the status back to 'Pending Export' and hit 'Save' NOTE: Only use the SKU override option, or the merge to option, if the SKUs are the same condition. |
Troubleshooting Tips
Generally speaking, you may see rejections that are not in the above table. When you do, there are a few good steps to take:
- Find your item in Quipt. Then, below both the feed settings and related feeds, you will see 'History'. The history section will give you all sorts of useful insight into what could be going on with your item and how you might fix it, if the rejection message isn't helpful enough.
- Start looking for the most recent 'Rejection' message- usually there will be a note, near that rejection, that is going to give you insight into why the item is not getting published.
- If you see keywords in the notes that contain product ID, item ID or DATA ERR, look at the UPC or other product identifiers.
- Typical UPC's are 12 digits in length, so if you used a pre-existing UPC when building your item initially, it may not be the correct length. If you used the 'Assign a UPC' button in Quipt while creating your item, then the UPC should be the correct length. When the UPC is an incorrect length, the channel will auto reject it, no matter how many times you re-toggle the feed.
- If you see keywords in the notes like XML validation failed, then that almost always points to an issue with the way Quipt sends data. Create a request to make Quipt aware of the SKU and issue that you are dealing with.
- If you see an error like this: "Content: Reason for the status change: IMS Setup is pending", this is usually a good indication that there is an internal issue going on with Walmart. After you have confirmed that the site end date is valid (see above), then you will want to open a case with Walmart Seller Support to get some assistance in the resolution of this issue.
