The feeds page allows you to quickly filter items by their status- Accepted, Exported, Off, Pending Export, Published, Rejected and Rejected - Quipt Managed. Along with filtering by status, you also have the ability to filter by channel, manufacturer, quantity, condition, etc. This allows you to easily see the different inventory items that are in a particular status for a channel in question. For example, you can see what items are published on Amazon, and oppositely what items are rejected or unpublished. You can use this information to clear rejections, turn feeds on, and ensure maximum exposure rates.
Rejections
Finding Rejections
The most useful way we use the feeds page is to observe the items with the status ‘rejected’. These are the items that are unpublished on channels. To see the rejected feeds, click the green ‘Filter’ button in the upper right hand corner, set the ‘Status’ to “Rejected” , "Rejected - Channel Managed", "Rejected - Vendor Managed" and/or "Rejected - Quipt Managed", and then, if you want to see a specific channel’s rejections, choose which channel to filter by.
In this example, we will filter by Facebook Marketplace.
You then click the blue ‘Search’ button on the bottom, and Quipt will bring back the results for your search.
If you want to see all of the rejection reasons, click the Export button to download the details in excel.
What Do Rejections Look Like?
Now that we can see the rejections for any channel we desire, we want to go through the different rejections to see the specific reason. The filter you applied will bring up a list of different rejected skus. Click on one of the item titles to see that sku’s rejection for the particular channel you are filtering.
Above is an example of what a rejection will look like if you were filtering by the channel Newegg Marketplace. A rejection can either be caused by ‘Content’, or by ‘Price & Availability’. The yellow box holds information on which piece caused the rejection. Next, you will look where the blue box is, towards the bottom of the feed. This area will tell you precisely what caused the rejection. In this example, it looks like content was accepted, but that there is another item on Newegg matching our item, which is already under a different subcategory, so it was rejected to avoid being published in multiple places on the site.
All Rejected - Quipt Managed feeds are being flagged and worked on daily. Within history you will see this activity until the Quipt Managed rejection is cleared.
There are many different reasons for rejections, because each channel has different requirements for data they receive. See the Feed Rejection Fixes by Channel for a list of common rejections and the steps to take to resolve them.
If there are rejections you cannot solve or feel should be flagged Quipt Managed, contact content@getquipt.com
