More and more marketplaces are either requiring authorization to sell major brands or offering premium listings to suppliers who meet certain thesholds. These thresholds vary, but typically require proof of purchase, letter of authorization or invoice trail to the brand or an authorized partner.
The process can take days or even weeks. Being organized is the best way to accelerate the process.
If you resell major brands, we recommend that you prioritize these from highest impact to lowest and keep all relevant invoices or letters of authorization on file so that they can be repurposed for each marketplace.
Although the process can be time consuming, the resulting sales will be worth it.
