During onboarding and integration, you will be required to complete a series of test scenarios ensuring your connection to Quipt is implemented properly. Quipt has a public Sandbox Partner "Demo" that can be connected to both as a channel, and/or supplier.
Open your "Partners" page, and the click the green "Connect to Partner" button
Use the search to locate "Demo" account, and then choose the relationship you are creating with the account (Either channel, or vendor)
If you are using Quipt's Merchant API to sell physically owned inventory, select "Channel Connection"
If you are using Quipt's Retailer API to manage virtual inventory and list on your branded website(s), select "Vendor Connection"
Click save to skip the designated contact information section
Once you select your connection type, Quipt's AutoSync will attempt to complete the partner profile by applying your standard policies and templates that you previously set within your business rules. If you would like to make any changes or exceptions for this partner, unlock the page by clicking the lock icon and then update the desired value before saving.
Make sure the partner "Toggle" switch icon is set in the green "On" position.
You may now begin your integration testing with the Demo account.
For certain test scenarios, you may be required to initiate the test from the Demo account, i.e. simulate a channel placing an order. You CANNOT place an order for your own inventory, in this case you would need to complete the following steps in order;
Create an inventory item in YOUR Quipt ecosystem
Add quantity to your inventory item
Price and activate the Demo feed (be sure to save the SKU you are testing, you will need to purchase this from the Demo account)
Log out of your account
Login to the Demo account (U: demo // P: qDemo2023#)
Search for the SKU that you have activated to the demo account
Complete checkout process
Log out
Log back in to your account to complete test scenario
IMPORTANT
Once you have completed your integration testing, be sure to deactivate the demo account by turning the "Toggle" switch to the gray "Off" position within your partner settings. Failing to do so could cause test data to be included within your production environment after launch.
